Position: Associate Manager Sales & Solutions

Position Summary

The Associate Manager of Sales & Solutions is consultative sales position focused on the life science sector including start-up to smaller sized pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, contract research organizations or contract manufacturing organizations, as well as small consultancies. The Associate Manager will apply the ValueSelling sales methodology to achieve sales targets and the company’s strategic objectives. The Associate Manager will work under the guidance of a Senior Sales Supervisor and then independently as well as collaboratively with all the Sales & Client Support team members in the US and EU to deliver outstanding client service and maximize the value of the global business. This position will focus on sales execution by maintaining, cultivating and growing an assigned group of client accounts as well as maximizing all opportunities to develop new pharmaceutical client accounts and grow new business. The territory responsibility will include some accounts either on the east coast and mid-west or other areas as may be assigned.

Experience

•       Two or more years of work in the pharmaceutical industry or related business experience requiring knowledge of ethical drugs, their classifications, indications, development phases, and other key commercial/financial data is preferable

•       Understands financial data for drugs and drug companies with ability to read and interpret financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

•       Worked in a capacity that provided a set of solutions via selling and/or training clients in the pharmaceutical or financial industry

•       Delivered pharmaceutical or financially related presentations to a management or executive level client audience

•       Has worked in a life science or financial services business successfully as a team member and leader in a fast paced dynamic environment meeting tight deadlines and delivering results to clients.

Education

•       Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Finance, Economics or other related fields is required; MBA or advanced degree is plus
